De la Camioneta

Class or Style? A stylin' line of transportation alongside a classy direct bus.

Just resting...

"Zunil, Zunil, Zunil, going to Zunil?" Calls the Ayudante!

A mysterious view of the valley approaching Volcán de Santa Maria at sunset taken from a bus on the way to Xela.

Lago de Atitlan

The Mayan people over the years have passed on a myth for how the world had been created in this beautiful basin circled by volcanoes. Though the photos don't do it justice, after visiting the lake I can understand why the Mayans believe this is the origin of creation.

One Volcano

Two Volcano

Big Volcano

Pueblo in between. Santiago de Atitlan.

Simply Beautiful.

Panajachel, Guatemala by the Lake

A view of the palm lined trail near Panajachel and Lago de Atitlan.

Approaching a nature preserve near Pana with a nice cascada, waterfall, in the background.

Putting on the game face for the Cables de Extrema or Zip Lines through the gorge at the nature preserve.

A challenging walk on swinging steps!
